Nichol Avenue Development Project – Construction Update
KennMar Construction is excited to share the latest progress on the Nichol Avenue Development Project, transforming the former Marsh store at 2810 Nichol Avenue into a 24,500 square foot Needler’s Fresh Market and a 15,000 square foot Ace Hardware.
Recent Milestones:
- Electrical and Plumbing: All rough-ins are complete, marking a significant advancement in the buildout.
- Drywall Installation: Our team is actively hanging drywall, setting the stage for the upcoming painting phase.
- Ductwork: HVAC ductwork is progressing well and is scheduled for completion by Friday, ensuring we’re on track to paint the ceiling as planned.
- Fire Suppression System: Installation is complete, enhancing the safety measures of the facility.
Community Impact:
This development addresses a vital need for residents in Anderson’s westside corridor, who currently travel over three miles to the nearest grocery store and nearly five miles to the closest home supply store. Upon completion, the community will benefit from convenient access to essential shopping resources.
Looking Ahead:
With the interior systems nearing completion, we are poised to begin painting and subsequent finishing touches. We remain committed to delivering a high-quality space that meets the needs of the Anderson community.
Stay tuned for more updates as we continue to make strides toward the grand opening of Needler’s Fresh Market and Benge’s Ace Hardware – Anderson.
