Hotel Indy, a Marriott Tribute Portfolio property, opened in 2021 and is located in the Wholesale District of downtown Indianapolis. Close to the Indiana Convention Center, Gainbridge Fieldhouse, and Monument Circle, this modern hotel is part of 6 Brutalist group hotels across the world.

Built in 1969, KennMar acquired the property in 2018 with the intent of redeveloping the outdated office building that was once home to State Life Insurance Co. As part of the redevelopment plan, KennMar partnered with national and international hospitality companies and an Indianapolis architecture firm to create an elegant 90-room boutique hotel, with a rooftop bar, private dining room, and state-of-the-art business-use spaces.

Today, the hotel offers sophisticated rooms and suites with modern amenities and furnishings. The floor-to-ceiling windows showcase the vibrant scenes of downtown Indianapolis. The rounded corners, soft features, and beautiful furniture invite guests into a peaceful sanctuary.

The Hulman
At The Hulman, guests are immersed in an edgy and uncommon atmosphere, inspired by the timeless spirit of the iconic Hulman-George family and the history of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. This space is available for large dinners or intimate gatherings.The Cannon Ball Lounge: Spend an evening at the rooftop bar taking in dynamic views of the city from six floors up. Celebrate free and independent spirits while enjoying expansive scenes of downtown Indy and sipping on locally distilled and brewed beverages. This space can be reserved for private or semi-private events.

The 1945
Named for the year that the Hulman-George family purchased the Indianapolis Motor Speedway the private dining room comfortably seats ten to twelve guests and is ideal for board meetings, business lunches and rehearsal dinners.

The Paddock
The Hulman’s outdoor patio is ideal for morning brunches and evening dinners under the stars. Complete with a full bar and fireplace, it offers the perfect space to host private parties, family celebrations, rehearsal dinners and corporate events among the sights and sounds of the city.

The Brandon Coffee Bar
Located just outside the main dining room and surrounded by cozy couches and chairs, the Brandon Coffee Bar offers quick food and beverage options on the go.
