KennMar is pleased to announce that it will be the new property manager for Union Station in downtown Indianapolis. Spanning over 200,000 square feet, the property has been owned by the City of Indianapolis since 1971, was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1982 and was converted into a marketplace in 1984. Today, Amtrak’s Cardinal line passes through the terminals three times a week and is home to the Grand Hall.
“We are thrilled to have been awarded the management agreement for this landmark property by the City,” stated Kristy Carter, EVP of Asset Management at KennMar. “We are also excited to welcome Josh Quade to our team as the Senior Maintenance Engineer for the project. Josh has over 25 years of experience working within this property and will be a significant asset to the KennMar team.”
Earlier this year, KennMar announced that it was expanding its property management capabilities and offering new services such as third-party management and receivership. The company also earned the AMO® (Accredited Management Organization) accreditation from IREM (Institute of Real Estate Management) and joins an exclusive group of over 500 real estate management companies world-wide that have met the requirements to earn this distinction.
