CIESC Office Expansion Takes Shape at The Pyramids

Tenant improvement work continues at The Pyramids as KennMar Construction advances a new office expansion and reconfiguration for Central Indiana Educational Service Center.

With demolition complete, the project has transitioned fully into the buildout phase. New flooring has now been completed throughout the space, while drywall is hung and new rooms have been constructed to better align with the client’s operational needs.

As the layout takes shape, work is now progressing both overhead and into key finishing elements.

Current Progress on Site
With flooring complete, crews are wrapping up overhead work in preparation for closing out the ceiling grid. This marks an important step as the project begins transitioning from open systems to a more finished interior environment.

At the same time, doors are being stained and prepared for installation. Once they are swung into place, glass inserts will follow—helping to enclose and define the newly created spaces.

What’s Next
With major systems and structure in place, the next phase will bring a noticeable transformation to the space:

• Final drywall finishing and detailing
• Door installation followed by glass inserts
• Ceiling grid closure and tile replacement
• Casework and cabinet installation

The upcoming installation of casework and cabinetry will be one of the most impactful milestones, adding both function and visual identity as the space moves closer to completion.

Building Toward Completion
This stage of construction reflects the shift from structure to finish, where sequencing and coordination across trades become critical to maintaining momentum.
